We have had many more requests for hospitality than we have hosts and beds. See the hotels section below for leads on area hotels.

If you are in the Houston area, please offer hospitality.

We offer hospitality to full time registrants on a first-come, first-served basis. We have a limited number of hosts and can not guarantee home hospitality for everyone who requests it.

Request hospitality through the registration process. The later you register, the less likely we'll be able to place you.

If you have concerns about your specific needs (allergies, transportation, etc) you are welcome to email SFS2020@hatds.org before you register. You can also enter a message to our housing coordinator in the registration process. But please remember that in some cases you may be better off in a hotel.

If you request hospitality, you should receive an acknowledgement email from our housing coordinator soon after you register, but you will not receive your host assignment until closer to the event.

If you are in the Houston area and can offer hospitality, please click the button below to submit your offer to our housing coordinator.

The hall is in zip 77022 and there are several motels near there. The closest one to the hall (1/2 mile) is an America's Best Value.

Avoid the Western Inn. It is not a Best Western and gets terrible reviews.

There are some nicer hotels to the west in zip codes 77018 and 77092; we list some of them below. There are also some reasonably-priced Airbnbs in the area, as well as some rather expensive ones.

We don't have a deal with any particular hotel and suggest that you check Trip Advisor or other review sites for recent reviews.

Popular in the past

Over the years both of the Marriott Brookhollow properties have been popular with dancers. The Springhill Suites includes breakfast while the Courtyard does not, but remember that we serve a continental breakfast on Saturday and a full brunch on Sunday.

There are several properties along Hwy 290 between W. 43rd and Pinemont including a brand new Fairfield Inn & Suites, Holiday Inn Express, and Platinum Inn & Suites. The old Crowne Plaza building was completely gutted and remodeled, and is now a much nicer hotel called the Grand Tuscany.

These are all an easy 15–20 minute drive to and from the hall along W. 43rd / Crosstimbers and Pinemont.
