The HATDS Board of Directors has cancelled the membership drive for the 2020-2021 membership year and has instead extended all 2019-2020 memberships through August 31, 2021.
All unused free dance certificates are also extended through August 2021.
Although HATDS is in good financial shape and we currently don't have any dance-related expenses such as hall rent, we do have
several recurring expenses of about $1500 annually that are normally covered by membership dues.
Equipment storage ($53 a month, $636 annually). The storage unit contains sound equipment, water coolers, door supplies, large fans, Bayou Bedlam supplies, etc.
CDSS Affiliate Membership ($100 annually)
P.O. Box rental ($130 annually)
Insurance ($635 annually, although a rebate or a lower rate is possible while we're not dancing)
If you wish, you can make a donation to help defer those expenses. A donation can be in any amount, but if you would like to donate what you would have paid in dues, here are the rates:

If you know someone who is not currently a member and who would like to join HATDS, they may do so starting at
the membership overview page. However, the membership scripts and database are currently offline while being updated; they should be back online sometime in August.
