What's Bayou Bedlam?
Bayou Bedlam is the Houston, Texas weekend of contra dancing, food, and friendship. It takes place every February and features nationally known bands and callers.
Every Bayou Bedlam features a Friday night dance, various workshops during the day on Saturday, a Saturday buffet lunch, a Saturday night dance, and a Sunday brunch and dance.
Bayou Bedlam is produced by the Houston Area Traditional Dance Society, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. For information about HATDS, the regular contra dances in Houston, or contra dancing in general, see the HATDS web site at hatds.org.

Bayou Bedlam 2011
Planning has begun for Bayou Bedlam 2011. We will feature Scott Higgs calling to Shawn Brenneman's band House Red. The dates are February 18-20, 2011.
